Title: Global Pharma EMO BU Leader for Nutraceuticals
Location: United States-New Jersey-Madison Site
Position Summary
· Directs, manages and coordinates all Operations activities related to nutraceuticals
· Is the contact person for all stakeholders from innovation to supply to markets (DR, commercial, finance, regulatory affairs, business dev …)
· Responsible for global operation performance of this nutraceutical range of products : qty performance, compliance to regulation, time to market, customer service level, financial performance …
· Responsible for overall EMO strategy within Pharma Business Unit, takes the lead among the EMO Pharma team to assure the level of detail and coordination to make EMO work right within the Business Unit.
· Co-lead with EMO Surgical Business Unit Leader for the cross functional/cross Business Unit Steering Committee.
Specific Job Duties
· Is part of the innovation process for new products as such responsible for right first time to market
· Accountable with support of global qty and reg affairs of the compliance of the product with qty and regulatory stds
· Put in place and maintain a supply chain of the products which allow to have > 98% customer service level and no Back Orders on top products
· Propose a plan and execute CIP projects to have y/y improvement of cost structure
· Analyze and understand global nutraceutical strategy in order to work and propose an operation strategy aligned with global business strategy able to support medium/long term growth and maximize profitability
· Manage the network of stakeholder of nutraceutical partners (internal at global ops or in pharma BU) in order to have fluid information sharing process and coordinated decision process
· Meet the necessary KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
* Quality and compliance of products
* Time and right first time to market for innovation
* Customer service level > 98% and no BO on products
* Achieving financial performance according to plan and improving cost structure y/y
* Managing fluid and efficient communication and decision processes

Managerial Responsibility
· 2 direct reports managing the nutraceutical projects and network of support

* Regulatory affairs and global quality
* Purchasing and global demand / planning

· Significant experience in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical business is required
· Minimum of Bachelor's level degree in sciences as chemist, pharmacist , engineer is required
· Supply chain degree such as CPIM is plus
· English Speaking mandatory , second language preferred
· Knowledge in project management
· Base knowledge in quality and regulatory industry standards
· 10 years experience in various areas such as operations management, quality management, planning and/or logistics management and/or engineering management experience in nutraceutical / pharma business (required)
· Has met aggressive new products introduction and ramp requirements
· Familiar with state of the art manufacturing systems for control of quality, cost and delivery Experience with negotiating and influencing managers
· Experience in stakeholder management
· Experience in operating within a continuous process improvement environment.
· Experience and ability to work across business functions in a matrix organization to build teamwork and get results.
