Location: United States-Florida-Tampa Site
Reporting to the Director, Pharma Technical Services, the Project Manager will define strategies and lead cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate resources and activities to maintain, improve and enhance the manufacturing processes and supply-chain robustness of existing commercial products.
 Champion and lead projects for the expansion of existing products into new markets buy supporting the coordination of R &amp; D, regulatory and commercial steps necessary to position a product to be available for launch.
 Management of projects in compliance with PDP process and procedures.
 Management of project team members from the various other functional areas assigned to a specific program (includes team meetings, communications to teams and meeting minutes etc.).
 Along with project team, lead the development and implementation of a project plan, schedule, budget and capital plan as required.
 Review and monitor program/project activities against definition, schedule and costs.
 Prepare amended budget forecasts as required.
 Deliver products to agreed timelines and budgets.
 Communicate effectively with R &amp; D, Operations and Quality management and staff regarding the status of all activities.
 Inform management in a timely manner of any problems which may result in a delay in project schedules so that appropriate action may be taken.
 Publish and present monthly/quarterly project report summaries as required.

 Bachelors degree in science or engineering required with 10 years of related experience.
 5 - 7 years pharmaceutical drug development experience and/or experience with technical packages necessary for post-approval changes
 Prior training in project management.
 Proven, hands-on, results-oriented manager with demonstrated leadership skills across functional lines and a participatory style of working effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
 Ability to communicate and interact at all levels from senior management to staff level.
 Ability to translate customer requirements into measurable design goals/input.
 Competency in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint &amp; Excel.
 Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
 Manufacturing experience with sterile dosage forms is preferred.

  Development related activities. Global experience a plus.
* Prior
  training in project management. PMIcertification a plus.
* Proven,
  hands-on, results-oriented manager with demonstrated leadership skills

* Ability to

project budgets, plans and schedules with team consensus and drive team
execution to those budgets, plans and schedules
Lead
team members in resolution of cross-functional differences of opinion, where
they arise
Communicate
project status and forecast to senior management on a regular basis and
communicate senior management vision to project team members as needed
Provide
budgetary forecasts of effort and cost for projected projects as part of annual
budgeting process

Bachelor

Masters
degree in management extremely helpful

least twelve years of medical device development experience
At
least three years of medical device development project management experience
Experience
in ophthalmology devices extremely helpful.
