Title: Principal Scientist - Toxicology
Location: United States-New York-Rochester Global Eye Health Center SiteThe Toxicologist hired for this
technical position will be responsible for the strategy development,
execution and management of Non-Clinical Safety programs focused on
Bausch and Lomb Pharmaceutical and Vision Care product development
Independently design and interpret GLP and non-GLP Safety Studies
using applicable Regulatory Guidance documents
Execute study placement and monitor activities of CROs performing toxicology studies
Serve as representative on project teams
Organize,
track and integrate safety data and present results to project teams,
management and for external presentations/publications
Conduct Risk assessments of new materialsEducation: PhD or MS in Toxicology preferred
Experience:
At least 10 yrs experience in Toxicology with Industrial experience
preferred. Knowledge/experience of Pharmaceutical and or Medical
Device Toxicology
Special Skills: Successful candidate will
possess strong critical thinking abilities, and be team-oriented with
excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills
should be robust and include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
