Responsible for coordinating sourcing and procurement activities involving Information Technology (IT) commodities such as hardware, software, telecommunications, labor, and services. Execute strategic sourcing and tactical procurement processes while in compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Participates as a member of Procurement’s global IT Center of Excellence (COE). Collaborates with global IT stakeholders for achievement of business goals and attainment of Global Sourcing & Procurement’s (GSP) business targets including cost savings and continuity of supply. Responsible for the identification, selection, and management of suppliers to obtain desired service, quality, price, and technology. Identify, implement, and track cost savings projects. Position negotiates commercial (cost) and other contract terms with suppliers, including legal terms as advised by Counsel. Also supports the timely and accurate Procure-to-Pay process with suppliers by facilitating changes to purchase orders and resolving settlement issues as necessary. Leverages available eProcurement tools -- Spend Visibility, eSourcing, and Contract Management -- to accelerate sourcing events and manage the IT spend category for Bausch Lomb.

Bachelor’s degree with related experience required. MS/MBA/CPM/CPIM a plus. A minimum of 2 years Information Technology experience supporting sourcing and procurement is also required. Proven experience in competitive bidding, RFI / RFP / RFQ development, evaluation, negotiations, execution, and contract management. Extremely proficient in understanding simple-to-complex software license agreements, software maintenance agreements, professional service agreements, and statements of work (SOW) / services (SOS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and cloud computing concepts. Must possess strong business acumen and proven negotiation skills. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment handling multiple priorities. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to lead global, cross-functional teams for major IT sourcing initiatives. Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
