Title: Vision Care: Sales Associate
Location: United States-New York-Rochester Global Eye Health Center Site
The Sales Associate program will provide training both in Rochester, New York and in periodic field visits. This program is designed to provide training for an opportunity to apply for an open Vision Care Territory Manager position. This program is expected to be completed within eighteen months. The Sales Associate will remain in Rochester, New York, except for training assignments, until they have successfully completed the training program. At that time, the Associate becomes eligible to apply to open Vision Care Territory Manager positions. Every effort will be made to locate a mutually agreeable territory. Ideally, this new field sales role would be a minimum two year commitment. The company holds the right to assign the Associate to a territory based on business need.

- Bachelors Degree required – marketing and business majors preferred. Documentation of leadership” positions at previous work assignments or within school activities.
- A strong desire to grow in professional sales quickly
- Excellent listening, problem solving, and assertiveness skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to project a positive attitude.
- Successful academic background.
- Strong organizational ability and time management skills.
- Proven track record of negotiation & closing skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, presentations, written).
- An interest in taking responsibility to build current skill set and gain additional knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must live in Rochester, NY for at least18 months, then be willing to relocate to any open US territory that best addresses the business needs of the Company.
- Compensation: Base hourly rate plus target sales incentive
- A relocation bonus is available for moves greater than 50 miles
