Title: U.S. Senior Tax Specialist
Location: United States-New York-Rochester One B+L Place Site
· Support Director of U.S. Federal Tax Compliance and Audits with U.S. federal, state and international corporate income tax return preparation, including research, computations and preparation of documentation related to book-to-tax differences and tax attributes as required for estimated payments, interim and year-end tax accounting and annual tax returns.
· Support Director of U.S. Federal Tax Compliance and Audits with IRS audits, including assisting with responding to IDRs, researching, developing and documenting tax positions.
· Assist Director of U.S. Federal Tax Compliance and Audits and Manager of External Tax Reporting with U.S. Tax Provision, including assisting with computations of, and accounting for, U.S. current tax, U.S. deferred tax assets and liabilities, and deferred tax asset realization testing.
· Support Director of U.S. Federal Tax Compliance and Audits and Director of Global Tax Planning with U.S. domestic and international tax planning, including but not limited to assisting with research, analysis and documentation of tax positions.
· Ensure that all responsibilities of the Sr. Tax Specialist – U.S. Tax Reporting are controlled, documented and executed in accordance with applicable accounting regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
· Perform other analyses/administrative duties/projects as assigned.
* BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required; MBA, MST, CPA and/or JD preferred.
* Must have a minimum 3-5 years corporate tax experience. strong analytical skills, ability to make quick/calculated decisions, and ability to perform effectively in a team and individual work environment are a must.
* PC competency required (Word, Excel, Peoplesoft, HFM, tax research/compliance software, etc).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work on and lead teams required.
