Title: Apprentice Instrument Technician I
Location: United States-Missouri-St Louis Site
Finishing manufacture of hand-held surgical instruments. Involves delicate, intricate work in handcrafting microsurgical instruments to specifications, utilizing drawings and/or master models.
Job Duties Include:
•Filing, bending, brazing, and other manual manufacturing. Some work requires the use of a microscope.
•Machine work including belting, grinding, and drilling.
•Use of measurement instruments including micrometers and calipers.
•Polishing.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
•Hand metal-working experience.
•Excellent manual dexterity.
•Ability to visualize shapes.
•Ability to follow verbal and written manufacturing procedures.
