Title: Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering
Location: United States-Florida-Tampa Site
The purpose of this position is to assist the2ndshiftManufacturing Department Manager and Sr. Manufacturing Manager in assuring production schedules and standards are met or exceeded. This position requires Aseptic Gowning certification, PRISM certification, Visual Inspection certification, QC certification, LOTO Certification Wise Owl Training, BAPP and Line Clearance certification. Evaluates quality issues with the MQA Manager.
Assumes responsibility for theGMP,ISO, environmental health and safety procedure awareness, and compliance within the respective area.Will review, revise and write SOPs. Will particiapte and interact with internal and external Audits
Tracks and improves material variance, quality indicators, and OEE using Lean and Six Sigma methods and tools.The primary objective will be to increase productivity through the management of people, methods of business organization and technology. May be required to Travel and attend business Seminars, FAT testing and other business related functions. Will supervise filling and packaging SUMs

Specific Job Duties(bulleted list of detailed job responsibilities in order of importance)
Job Duty:
Lead the activities of the team members in the production of products in accordance with SOPs and company policies to ensure a product delivered on time. Responsibility includes:

- Management of employee performance, hiring, discipline, eTime, attendance, vacation planning, etc.
- Personnel development planning
- Cross training program design and implementation
- Develops, analyses, and presents monthly reports
- Inventory accuracy
- Documentation accuracy and timely handled.
-NCRinitiation and immediate situation assessment.
- On time PM and Calibration execution
- Environmental, safety and ergonomics compliance
- Assists during internal or external audits
Closely monitors and take appropriate timely improvement action to meet OEE target. Establishes work measurement programs (OEE) and develops standards for labor utilization
Utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the site key operating statistics such as OEE, budget, compliance, production units, etc. Implements methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
Coaches and provides technical expertise to resolve processing and equipment complex problems. Also, ensures corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Responsible for creating a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards ensuring the appropriate level of accountability for site goals and objectives is held at the team members level. Must have strong facilitation & communication skills in order to train employees to utilize Lean & Six Sigma tools to improve efficiencies.
Rotational Shift Monday thru Friday & Tuesday thru Saturday. Other responsibilities assign as needed per area Managers.
Qualifications(include education, prior knowledge, experience or special skills required to perform the jobs major duties)
Education: BS in Engineering required preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5 years hands on experience hands on in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma environment required.
Experience required with Problem Solving skills in a team building culture. Experience required for process flow analysis, data collection analysis problem identification and implementation of preventive and corrective action. Experienced supervisor with personnel administration, conflict resolution and line of site experience, 3-5 years

Special Skills : Must be a hands-on person and a good teacher/facilitator. Must be able to influence people outside of their direct authority. Must have a good working knowledge of typical supply chains. The position also requires a demonstrated ability to think outside the box and a knack for challenging existing practices in an effective manner.Must be good at solving problems. Must combine their technical knowledge with a sense of human capabilities and limitations. Must be able to organize many details into a broad view of the total operations. Must also be able to interact and cooperate with other engineers, technicians, and managers. Must be able to effectively and openly communicate with production workers and be willing to understand their concerns. Must have good communication skills in order to present plans in the form of written reports or oral presentations. Must be able to work a rotational shift at least 1 week per month to support a 3 shift manufacturing operation

Specialized Training: Knowledge in these subject areas required: SMED, Kaizen, Problem Solving, 5S, Demand Flow, Pull Systems, Pareto Analysis, Cause and Effect, Visual Controls, Six Sigma and Mistake Proofing 5 Whys
Six Sigma Greenbelt & Blackbelt Training and Certification will be requiredJob: Engineering Services
