Title: Vision Care: Regional Business Manager, Western Canada
Location: Canada-British Columbia-British Columbia - Virtual Office

Position Overview

1. Manage and lead Bausch Lomb Vision Care Territory Managers and Eye Care Specialty Representatives to achieve sales goals for contact lenses and lens care products to Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
2. Comprehensive training to learn B L product knowledge, competition, and marketplace.
3. Grow base business to exceed market growth (typically 5% each year).
4. Work cross-functionally with various areas of the company to achieve sales objectives.
5. Maintain high levels of communication with all levels in the organization.

Performance Objectives

1. Achieve Quarterly and Annual Sales Goals for Your Region : Within the first 6 months, develop a regional business plan that establishes goals and tactics.

2. Establishing Goals and Tactics: Using regional data analysis, customer identification, response to market changes, prioritizing competitive analysis, establishing success requirements and current and future trends.

3. Become a Market Expert : The primary deliverable associated with this task is improving your knowledge of B L products, competitive products and management skills through ongoing home study and participation in company-sponsored training. It should be completed in the first 60 days.

Team Review

1. Identify key motivational factors : Help increase performance and morale within the sales team.

2. Provide clear leadership and strategic direction : To all sales reps (Territory Managers, Eye Care Specialty Reps) throughout the region.

3. Manage, coach, train and develop : Within the first 3 months, ensure sales reps have identified areas of opportunity to deliver effective sales messages to their top potential targets.
Required Skills:

5 years experience in business to business sales, preferably in optical product or pharmaceutical sales. Must have documented sales success. Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sales process.

¨ Post- secondary education, BA or BSc preferred.

¨ Highly developed interpersonal skills, and communication skills, both oral and written. Should be fluently bilingual.

¨ Proven ability to self manage time and administrative tasks (pre-post call planning, territory routing/zoning, expenses, sample accountability, etc.)

¨ Computer skills (Microsoft applications and intranet navigation)

¨ Ability to travel extensively within the large territory.

¨ Valid driver’s licence and insurability.
